We are licensed to sell alcohol between 12noon – 11pm every day.
FOOD
We are sensible and responsible whilst serving alcohol, therefore a food offering needs to be made.
Whether you’re hosting an intimate gathering or a large celebration, we’ve got your catering covered. We can serve you in-house with our own delicious offerings, or bring in trusted partners we work with regularly at our popular supper clubs.
From tapas to tacos, paella to gourmet hot dogs- to sit down meals – and plenty more – we offer food that’s full of flavour and tailored to your event. Whatever your style, we’ll help create a menu that gets people talking (and coming back for seconds).

Venue hire COST
Friday and Saturday evenings we have a £300 exclusive venue hire cost plus a minimum spend of £1200 which includes food and drink, this spend is achievable with 30 plus guests
We can also discuss part hire of the bar for up to 20 guests.
Sunday – Thursday hire from 11am we have a £180 exclusive venue hire cost or £850 minimum spend.
Guest list management
Once you have booked us for private hire we close the bar to the public and anyone wanting to book their place can do so once they know your event date via the link below and on our website (called Book a table) and simply they select the date and select the number of guests, this will allow your guests to add their response, we can manage the guest list attendance, dietary requirements and questions directly for you.
We also show a message on our booking system to make it clear this is a private invite-only event and you can also provide a welcome/info message to show here if you would like.

Chester Street Car Park – £1.40 after 6pm
Waitrose Iceland and the Precinct parking 2-3 hours depending on where you park – FREE Parking

PRE BOOKED PACKAGES
Did you want to get together a group of friends and host something different like cocktail making, wine tasting, workshops, we manage your guest list, take payment directly from all guests, take care of any dietary requirements and answer all guests questions for you. All via a simple link we set up on our awesome system!
Music
You are more than welcome to provide a spotify play list, this is a popular option or we can play suitable music for you.
Decorations
Our venue is thoughtfully and beautifully decorated, offering an elegant backdrop for your special event. To maintain this ambiance, we recommend minimal additional décor.
Popular additions like light-up numbers and free-standing balloon arrangements are welcome and complement the space nicely. However, we kindly ask that:
No wall-mounted or hanging decorations be used
No glitter, confetti, or table scatters

Sharing boards a choice of mixed meat & cheese and vegeterian option £14 per board
For approx 40 people (12–15 pizzas and upto 8 sharing boards – works really well a grazing table)
Event Catering Offer: Pizza & Grazing Table
Basic Package: £10 per person
Pizza Variety: A range of freshly baked pizzas, including classic Margherita, Spicy Meat, and more.
Grazing Table: A selection of cheeses, meats, fruits, nuts, olives, breads, and crackers.
Upgrade: £12 per Person
For just £2 more per person, add a dessert selection:
Dessert Selection: to include a selection of naughty but nice treats

We’re happy to work with clients on events large and small. You might be planning an intimate gathering that you need to be extra special. Equally, it may be that you’re challenged by real logistical and practical issues with a much larger event, such as a wedding. Either way, we’re there to work alongside you in partnership.
Planning
If you’d prefer to pass the whole planning process over to us, we’re ready to step in. Equally If you just need some additional support, that’s fine too. Just tell us the level of involvement you require. We have a reputation for being able to think outside the box and add a wow factor to your party/evening.
Mobile Bar Hire & Street Food Van Hire/Catering
Our Fully Loaded street food van is the perfect addition to any event. With mouth-watering menus designed for any occasion – including breakfast, gourmet burgers and hotdogs – it’s a regular fixture at festivals and food markets. So why not consider inviting it along to feed your own hungry guests?
Angel, meanwhile, is our mobile bar, which brings a little bit of heaven to any event you’re planning. Talk to us about the best arrangements to fit your plans – whether you’re looking to set a cap on cocktails or just go with the flow.

One of the most worrying and time-consuming aspects of event planning is the relationship with crucial suppliers. At Angel Bar, we are already working with a range of highly talented and efficient partners we know we can trust. From food to furniture, marquees to music, we’ll manage the process.
Accommodation
We have connections and preferential rates available through Caversham, Berkshire and the surrounding areas.
We arranged my daughters 21st birthday celebrations to be at Angel Bar. Nothing was too much trouble, they organised a lovely buffet too - which meant I had one less thing to do. Our daughter and her friends had a great time!
